Brian Montanari: President & CEO
Brian brings extensive experience and in-depth immersion into Lean practices and thinking. Having won two Connecticut Shingo prizes, Brian lives “Lean.” Under his leadership, this commitment to Lean informs everything that HABCO does as a manufacturer that’s aimed at providing customers with the highest level of operational readiness and safety. He’s relentless in his drive to make Lean a way of life at HABCO. His impact is felt throughout everything that HABCO does as a business. Prior to HABCO, Brian held various leadership roles and positions at Wiremold/Legrand, C&M Corporation, Respironics Novametrix and HID Global. He was also a professor of Lean Management at Eastern Connecticut State University and still lectures frequently as well as authoring papers on Lean topics. Brian holds an undergraduate degree from Siena College and an MBA from Central Connecticut State University.
Jeff Kretzmer: Chief Operating Officer
Jeff has been involved in military, commercial and repair service activities within various segments of the aerospace industry for over 30 years. Having joined HABCO in early 2013, Jeff brings vast experience to the company, gained by working in leadership positions at Esterline Technologies, Connecticut Advanced Products and Projects Incorporated. Noted as an industry authority on aircraft and engine sensing technology, he’s been intimately involved with manufacturing on the global stage by bringing together of several U.S. and Eastern European manufacturers in unique and mutually beneficial partnerships. Jeff is certified as a commercial pilot as well as an airframe and power plant mechanic by the FAA. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management/Flight Operations and is a member of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society.
Charlie Fuller: VP of Finance & CFO
Charles Fuller has over 40 years of experience in various manufacturing industries with roles/responsibilities in Finance, Human Resources, IT, Production Control, and General Management. Charles has worked as Chief Financial Officer at various companies most recently at Spencer Group and Tell Tool, Inc and in various leadership roles at Stanley Black and Decker for over ten years. His focus for most of his career has been in Cost Accounting, Inventory Valuations, Systems Implementations, Integration or Conversion, Production Planning, and Inventory Control. He earned a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Hartford. Charles and his family currently reside in Newington, CT.
Rich Levesque: VP of Supply Chain, EH&S
Rich brings valuable leadership to HABCO’s executive team during a period of rapid growth. In the past, he has utilized Lean principles to drive operational excellence and transform organizations across multiple industries including Healthcare, Commercial & Military. Most recently, as Operations Director at Radio Frequency Systems, Rich was able to reduce lead times by 75% and costs by 35% resulting in increased market share. Prior to that, he had a significant impact in achieving double-digit improvements in productivity, quality, lead time reduction and cash flow improvements as Vice President of Operations at both MAAX Bath and The Wiremold Company.
Carol Boedicker: VP of Human Resources
With more than 25 years of experience working in the human resources field, Carol brings a wealth of knowledge that spans far beyond the typical HR realm. Under her guidance, HABCO’s employee retention rate has jumped significantly to more than 90%. Her strategic thinking and enthusiasm for employee engagement has influenced the company’s culture in the most positive way, and she understands that happy and engaged employees equal quality products and satisfied customers. A graduate of Le Moyne College in upstate New York, Carol is a 2nd generation HR professional. Prior to joining HABCO in 2018, Carol was the Chief HR Officer at actûrus (formerly The Pert Group), and VP of Human Resources at American Payment Systems.
